Shane brings extensive experience in the building and construction industry, underpinned by a disciplined and strategic mindset developed during his service in the Australian Army as a Rifleman and Armoured Vehicle Commander on active duty overseas. His military background has instilled in him a strong work ethic, exceptional leadership, and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
Throughout his career, Shane has contributed to a wide range of complex and high-profile projects including public transport infrastructure, shopping centres, multi-storey residential developments, luxury hotels, commercial office towers and hospitals. He holds building surveying accreditations across multiple Australian states and possesses deep knowledge of building legislation, codes, and compliance requirements. He supports clients through all stages of the building process, from pre-lodgement advice and documentation through to on-site inspections and final compliance.
Shane collaborates closely with consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities such as fire services and local councils. As well as being accredited with the Department of Health and Human Services, he is known for his resourceful and pragmatic approach to problem-solving. His hands-on experience and technical expertise enable him to deliver clear, actionable advice that reduces risk, controls costs, and ensures completed works meet all compliance obligations.
